No. It works comfortably unchilled. Leaving it in the fridge or freezer as directed gives a stronger cooling sensation.
The gel gradually warms during use. The cooling duration depends on preparation, room temperature and use; we do not promise a fixed number of minutes.
The gel is at the front, over the eyes and forehead. The fabric sleeve continues around the head.
The broad front helps cover your eyes. Light blocking depends on your face shape and positioning; centre the nose notch and check the edges.
